SoCal NAVHDA Training Days
Our training days are generally held the third Sunday of each month at Prado Recreation Dog Park. The park opens at 7:30 AM and training begins shortly thereafter.
Fee to enter the park is $15.00 *Cash Only* per person or married couple (one vehicle).
Training Day Guidelines & Procedures:

Please keep your dog under control at all times, particularly when he/she is not working on a drill.

Everyone in the field must wear a blaze orange hat, t-shirt or vest.

Members holding a gun in the field must have completed a hunter safety class or have a hunting license.

Children are to be supervised and remain in the designated parking area at all times.

No alcohol on premises.
What to Bring For Your Dog(s):

Food or Energy Treats

First Aid Kit

Bumpers/ Dummies

Towel for muddy paws

Comb/brush to aid in the removal of burrs

Bird Crates/Bird Bags for Your Ordered Birds

Break Action Shotgun (if you plan on shooting) - This is a NAVHDA requirement

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE ABLE TO CONTROL YOUR DOG. THIS IS A GOOD SOCIALIZATION TIME FOR YOUR DOG, BUT ATTITUDE AND CONTROL IS AN IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTION FOR ALL IN ATTENDANCE.
