SoCal NAVHDA Chapter 2024 Test Fees: 
SoCal Chapter Members: Natural Ability $250.00 / UPT & UT $300.00 

Non-SoCal Chapter Members: Natural Ability $280.00 / UPT & UT $330.00

 

TEST ENTRY RULES 

 

  • All owners (or at least one owner of co-owned dogs) and handlers of dogs entered in a NAVHDA test must be NAVHDA International members. Your NAVHDA member number is located on the mailing label just above your name on the Versatile Hunting Dog Magazine. You can also locate the number online at NAVHDA.org. 

  • No dog is to be entered in the test without being NAVHDA registered. There are no exceptions to this requirement. The NAVHDA dog registration number is your dog’s NAVHDA number that is on the Registration Certificate Pedigree you received from NAVHDA.

  • Fully completed Entry Forms and Test Fees are required in order to reserve a spot in the test.  Entries received without complete and correct information will be deferred until the information is updated. *The Test Secretary will only process online entry forms. No photocopies, scanned or screen shots of entry forms will be accepted*  

To Submit a Test Entry Please follow these steps:

1. Complete the online Test Entry Form  (Google Forms)

2. Complete the NAVHDA Test Entry Form and email it to:  test.secretary.socalnavhda@gmail.com

 

  • After submitting the forms, you will be notified within three days if there is a test spot available or if you will be placed on the waiting list. Once notified that you have a spot reserved, you will receive payment instructions. You will then have three days to submit payment. 

 

  • If you are placed on the waiting list, you do not need to complete payment until notified by email to do so. Once notified, you have three days to complete payment, or the slot will be offered to the next in line. 

 

 

PLEASE NOTE: 

  • No handler or owner may run more than 2 dogs.

  • Refund Policy: Upon cancellation of a test entry, a full refund less a $25.00 handling fee will be given up to 60 days before test start date. No refunds will be given after that point unless your slot is filled by a wait list member. 

  • In the event of an injury or illness to either a dog or handler prior to test start date, a full refund less a $25.00 handling fee will be given so long as proof is submitted in writing from a doctor or veterinarian within 10 days of test start date.
